Bezier Fit

The Bezier Fit tool is a very effective smoothing tool that can save a lot of time when creating or editing patterns and when preparing to cut. The resulting Bezier curve will have as many segments as needed to fit the original line, polyline, or spline, within the requested tolerance.

Select the Bezier Fit tool on the ribbon or press Shift + I. Any elements that are not allowed for this tool will be dimmed.

Set the desired tolerance using the slider or the edit field. Mouse over an element to see a preview of the replacement. Click the element to accept the replacement. You can also marque select multiple elements. Left click, drag the marque, and release. Elements will be previewed as you drag. When you release the new elements will be created.
