Align

The Alignment Tools lets you rotate an element horizontally, vertically, or parallel with another element. All other selected elements will rotate to maintain their original relative positions. When using curved elements as the reference, the two endpoints will establish the reference angle.

Select the Align tool from the Align drop-down on the ribbon or press Ctrl + [.

From the Element Tool Window, set the toggle to either Horizontal or Vertical.

Select the element or elements you want to align. Then mouse over the selected element you want to be the reference. You will see a preview of all the selected elements rotating to make that element the correct angle. The rotation field is informational only and tells you how the elements(s) have been rotated from their original position. Click to finish the operation.

Select the Align tool from the Align drop-down on the ribbon or press Ctrl + ].

Follow the steps in the Element Tool Window. They will get check marks as you complete each step.

Select all of the elements you want to rotate. Next, click on one of the selected elements to use as the reference. It will become dashed. Now mouse over any non-selected element and you will see the preview of all the selected elements rotated to align the last element clicked with the current element. Click to rotate the selection.
