Circle to Points

For patterns that came in from DXF files, you may need to convert circles to drill holes. This tool also allows points to be converted to circles.

Select all the circles/points to be converted, then click the Circles To Points tool or press Ctrl + Shift + C.

The following options are available in the dialog:

Circle to Points

Conversion toggle: Toggle Circles to Points on or off. Any circles that are part of the selection will be ignored.

Radius toggle: Use the Current radius or specify an Override value.

Rotation: Set the rotation for the newly created points.

Tool: Select the desired tool. Only valid point tool options are available.

Points To Circles

Conversion toggle: Toggle Points to Circles on or off. Any circles that are part of the selection will be ignored.

Radius toggle: Use the Current radius or specify an Override value.

Tool: Select the desired tool.

The preview will dynamically update as you change the values. Click Thin to accept the changes. Pressing Enter after changing a value will also accept the changes.
