Combine

The Combine tool can combine lines, polylines, arcs, splines, and Bezier curves. Elements to be combined must share common endpoints. Some common results are:

• If any of the selected elements are smooth (spline, arc, or Bezier)the result will be a spline.
• If only lines and polylines are selected, the result will be a polyline.
• If only Beziers are selected, the result will be a Bezier.
• If multiple arcs are selected that share the same radius and center point, and common endpoints the result will be a single arc.
  • If the arc’s combined sweep radius is 360°, the result will be a circle.

Notches will be preserved in their original positions.

Anchors will maintain their original values over the combined length of the new element.

Seams: If all the selected elements have seams, the combined result will have the same seam. If the seam values are different, the element first selected will have its seam preserved.

Select the elements you want to combine. Click on the Combine tool or press Ctrl + J to combine them. You will see a confirmation dialog telling you how many elements were joined. Click Don’t show this message again to hide this window.
