Conics
Circle
Select the Circle tool from the Conics drop-down on the ribbon or press the C key.
Click to place the center point. Move the mouse and click again to set the radius. You can use the Snap Function and Constraint Function for any points.
To enter specific coordinates, press the Tab key to shift focus to the dialog. Enter the x-coordinate of your start point. Press Tab again and enter the y-coordinate of your start point. Press Tab and enter the radius or Tab again to enter the diameter. Press Enter or click the Create button to create the circle. The circle can be manipulated by dragging the radius point with the mouse until you have the desired size.
You can assign any marking, cutting, or creasing tool to a circle.
Ellipse
Select the Ellipse tool from the Conics drop-down on the ribbon or press the I key.
Click to place the center point. Move the mouse and click again to set the major and minor axes. The second click will create the Ellipse. You can use the snap function for the center point.
To enter specific coordinates, press the Tab key to shift focus to the dialog. Enter the x-coordinate of your center point. Press Tab again and enter the y-coordinate of your center point. Press Tab and enter the major and minor axes (Radius A and B). Press Enter or click the Create button after the last measurement is entered to create the ellipse. The ellipse can be manipulated by dragging either axis point with the mouse until you have the desired shape and size.
You can assign any marking, cutting, or creasing tool to an ellipse.
