PC Requirements
Minimum Specifications
These are the minimum PC specifications required to run PatternSmith:
- Windows 10 or newer
- Quad Core Intel i5 CPU or better
- 8GB RAM
- 1 GB Hard Drive Space for Software
- DirectX 10 Graphics or better with a dedicated graphics card
- 1024 x 768 Screen Resolution or better
- Ethernet port for machine connection
- Internet connection is strongly recommended for better technical support
- Separate network interface card (NIC) for machine or AVM connection is recommended
Recommended Specifications
These are the recommended PC specifications for better overall performance and user experience.
- Windows 10 or Windows 11
- Quad Core Intel i7 CPU or better
- 16GB RAM
- Solid State Drive (SSD)
- 1 GB Hard Drive Space for Software
- DirectX 10 Graphics or better with a dedicated graphics card
- 1920 x 1080 Screen Resolution or better
- Ethernet port for machine connection
- Internet connection is strongly recommended for better technical support
- Separate network interface card (NIC) for machine or AVM connection is recommended
Note:
For the best user experience, always buy the best computer you can afford.
If no dedicated graphics card is detected, the minimum RAM requirement is 12GB. A warning will be shown if the system has less memory than this and no dedicated graphics card. Performance will be less than optimal.
