Texts

Text
Select the Text tool from the Texts drop-down on the ribbon or press the W key.

As you move the mouse around a preview of the Text will be displayed. Hovering over a geometric element will automatically rotate the Text be aligned with the element. If the element has a Seam, the text height will be changed to fit in the seam width. Click at the location where you’d like the center of your text. You can use the snap function for this center point.

In the dialog, enter your text. Press Tab to navigate to the Height and Angle entry fields. You can also change the Font and the Style used. After entering any values, press the Enter key or click the Create button in the dialog. Alternatively, you can start by entering the Center x and y coordinates in the dialog.
You can assign a Mark, Dot Mark, or Print tool to Text.
It is possible to create a text element that is aligned with another element, but not right on top of it as the default action is. With the Text tool active, check the Tangent to element box and hover over an element to align the text. Press the Ctrl key and move your mouse away from the element. The text will keep its alignment and show a guideline to the original element. If the element is curved, it will continue to maintain alignment with the element. If the element is another text element, it will pick up the text rotation property.
