Grouping

In many cases, you might need to move a group of elements together as a unit. Instead of handling each element individually, it is more convenient to group them together. The control point can be the centroid of the group or any point you select.

Group Elements

To group elements together, press the Group Elements button then select the elements you want to group. You can do this by either selecting each element individually or using the marquee box to select multiple elements.

Once you select elements, the Tool window will show the number of elements you’ve selected. Now select if you want the control point to be the Centroid or a Select Point. If you choose to select a point, after pressing Finish Selecting Elements, you will need to click on the point you want to use.
