General

When variables are removed, the affected controls can be also removed by checking the Remove Affected Controls When Removing Variables checkbox.

If you want to keep the control creation active even after a control is created, check the Keep Control Creation Active After Each Control is Created checkbox.

When a template project has changes that have not been saved, a popup warning will appear when trying to cancel. If you do not want the popup to appear when canceling, uncheck the Show Confirmation When Canceling checkbox. It is recommenced to keep this box checked.

Complex Control Rendering will break up the control visual line so it doesn’t intersect the label. This improves readability but can slow the editor when there’s a lot of controls.

Control Label Format lets you pick how you want the labels displayed. If there’s a variable assigned to the control you can see these change as you select different options:

Variable name and value
Variable name only
Value only

When Show Unit Labels On Controls is checked, the units used on the control will display at the end of the label.

Control Label Size controls the size of all labels.

Control Arrow Size controls the size of all arrows.

Variable Editor

When Evaluate Variable Expression Continuously is checked, the value of an expression will automatically evaluate.

If it is unchecked, you will have to press the Evaluate button every time you need to evaluate the value.

If Enable Suggestions When Editing Variables is checked, when editing a variable, function and other variables or parameter will be suggested to you. If you click on one, the suggested value will be automatically added to the value.

You can choose to not show functions by unchecking the Suggest Functions checkbox. You can also not show variables by unchecking the Suggest Variables checkbox.

Engine

When using extenders, there are two possible points that could be used. Most of the time, the closest point to the original point is the point you want to use. If this is not the case, uncheck the box for either Distance, Horizontal, or Vertical extenders.

Generate Patterns

When generating patterns, labels can be added. Check the Create Set Label box to enable labels on generated patterns. You can also add the variable values to the label by checking the Add Variable Values to Label checkbox.

Additionally, when generating patterns, they can be placed in a placement group by checking the Create Placement Group checkbox.
