Dockable Windows

The Variables, Parameters, and Tool windows can be hidden, floating, or docked.

Dockable windows will auto-hide when not in use. To open the window, click on its name. When you click anywhere else, it will return to its edge and hide.

While in use, you can click the horizontal pin to dock the window to its previous docked position.

Move a floating window by clicking its title bar and dragging. Drag the window to any edge to dock it. See Docking Controls below.

Docked windows are attached to an edge of the main window, and show the pin in its vertical orientation.

Docking Menu

Click on the dropdown arrow and you get a menu where you can select Float, Dock, or Auto Hide.

Docking Controls

When you use the title bar to move a window near any edge, you’ll see the following control pop up. Mouse over the location where you want to dock the window and release the mouse.
