Design Frames

The essential framing members that defines the shape of the awning. Their location is specific to a particular style of awning, but you determine their shape.

The Design Frames are highlighted by a gray pole.

Here are the different types of frames:

Design Frame Locations

The Design Frame locations are specific to a particular style of awning, but you determine their shape.

Dome

  • Down Bars

Clamshell

The ClamShell does not have any edible Design Frames.

Long Dome

Awning Styles

Domes

The Dome style includes Domes, Long Domes, and Clamshells.

Traditionals

The Traditional style includes Traditional and Open.

Waterfalls

The Waterfall style includes Straight/Convex, Straight/Concave, Covex/Straight, Convex/Covex, and Covex/Concave. The first two options have straight Head and Front Bars. The last three options all have curved Heads and Front Bars.

The first part of each name describes the type of Top and Front Bar available – convex or straight. The second part of each name describes the Rafter shape.

Marquees

The Marquee style includes Gable and Round.
