Attachment Details

In this section, you can assign how each panel attaches to each other.

On the left side, you will see a list of material edges. As you mouse over each edge, it will light up where it is on the awning display.

If you just need to add a specified amount of fabric, use Allowance. This creates a return seam specified by entering a value in Allowance Attachment Length.

Lace On 2 uses a separate fabric strip. You will need to tell Eclipse the width for that strip by entering a value in Lace On 2 Strip Width.

The details will be shown below. It is helpful to think of attachments as a series of commands that add foldovers, plot lines, extensions, and seam allowances to the edges of the computed awning panels.

The different types of commands are listened below:

FoldlineA foldover of any distance.
PlotlineA plotted line at any distance from the finished edge.
ExtendAny amount of fabric extended from the finished edge.
TerminateAny distance to the finished edge, usually a seam allowance.

When you click on any command, you can edit its properties, such as Plot Type (plot or reference) or Distance.
