Controls
Rotating
To rotate, hold Right-click and drag your mouse.
You can also change the view of the awning by using the snowflake in the bottom right corner of the Awning view. Click on any part of the snowflake to select an awning face to view. When you hover over a pointer, the awning face that will be displayed is shown below the snowflake.
Zooming In and Out
To zoom in and out, use the mouse wheel.
Design Frame Editor
The Design Frames create the shape of the awning. To edit the shape, click on any frame in the awning view. This will open the Design Frame Editor to the right. To close the editor, click Done.
Frame Types
There are four frame types, Arc, Arc-Line, Bezier, and Line. You can change from one style frame to another by clicking on any of the icons at the top of the pane. All Design Frames in an awning must be the same type.
Each frame type has its own controls for creating the shape you want.
Arc
The Arc frame uses a constant radius arc to create the frame shape. The arc can be either convex or concave.
Click and hold either handle to change the angle at the top and bottom of the frame. Alternatively, you can enter the angles at the bottom of the pane.
Arc-Line
The Arc-Line frame is composed of two line segments that are tangent with an arc. You have three controls: top angle, bottom angle, and percent of maximum radius of the arc.
Click and hold either handle to change the angle. There are sliders at the bottom to change the arc radius and line angles.
Bezier
The Bezier frame is used for unique designs. Each end of the curve has a handle that will always be tangent at that endpoint. The longer you make the handle, the more it will affect the curve.
To change the awning shape, drag either handle with the left mouse button until you get the shape you want.
Line
Since the Line frame is a straight line between endpoints, there are no controls available.
