Separate Image

Vertical and Horizontal are used with Repeated Prints. They will create a divider between a row or a column that you can place manually.

Retake Image

If the image taken is not registering all the markers or you need to move the printed pattern, you can retake the image by pressing the Retake Image button. If you need to take a darker or lighter picture, use the drop-down to do that.

Add Master Marker

If using a single master marker, contact Autometrix customer support for more information.

Add/Remove Markers

When Add/Remove Markers is toggled, you can add or remove a Register Marker. To add a marker, click anywhere. To remove a marker, hover over an existing marker and click.

Add Missing Markers

When Register Markers are covered or unreadable, PrintShot will try to predict where markers should be. By pressing Add Missing Markers, all markers that PrintShot guessed should be there will be added.

Remove False Positive Markers

Remove False Positive Markers will remove any markers that were found in the image that are not supposed to be there. False positive markers will typically happen when an image is too dark or light or has printed patterns that resemble a Reister Marker.

Add Margin

If PrintShot is finding markers out in space, you can add a margin around the printed pattern. When a margin is added, PrintShot will only look for markers in that area.

If a margin was added, you can remove the margin by pressing the Remove Margin button.

Cutting

Cancel

Cancel will exit the Editor Window, and go back to the Project View.

Plot

Once all markers are found, you can send the job to the machine by pressing the Plot button or pressing F10.

Marker Types

There are three different types of markers:

  1. Register Marker – These are the markers PrintShot looks at to determine where to cut.

  1. Missing Marker – If PrintShot thinks there should be a marker there, but there is not, this marker will show up.
