Copy Explorer

Copy Explorer with full right-click context menu. See all your nested patterns in a list format for the current table.

Duplicate Copy

The Duplicate Copy tool on both the Nesting and Patterns tab has been separated into two separate windows in PatternSmith 11 to increase the visibility of the features. You can mirror a pattern/copy or create a duplicate a certain distance away from the original. In PatternSmith 11 they are called Delta and Mirror.

Material Library

Enterprise-level Material Library – Share your Material Library in real time with all your PatternSmith users. Install alongside one of your PatternSmith licenses or standalone on a server.

The new Material Library packaged with PatternSmith 11 uses a server to control access and handles incoming changes from multiple clients to prevent data loss and ensure everyone has the most current data. When using the Material Library within PatternSmith 11 you can work on PatternSmith at the same time and leave the Material Library open.

You can also install the server as a standalone application on a server PC, so that every PC in the organization using PatternSmith, Workflow, etc. can connect to a single library. More info here.

Pattern Selection – Project and Nest Views

Zoom Selection – In the Project or Nest View, select a pattern or group of patterns to zoom to the selection F12.

Zoom to Pattern – Select a pattern or group of patterns in the Nest view and zoom to and select the pattern(s) in the Project view Shift+F12.

Zoom to Copy – Select a pattern in the Project View to zoom to and select all the copies on the current nest Ctrl+F12.
