Perimeter

The Select tool allows single select, multiple select (with the Shift key), marquee select, and deselect of perimeter points and notches. Selected points/notches can be deleted with the delete key or moved by dragging the left mouse button.

The Change Point Type tool allows a point to be changed from a corner point to a normal point and vice versa. Click on a single point to toggle the type between normal and corner. 

The Add Notches tool will add a notch wherever you click on a curve. A preview will appear as the mouse is moved along the curve.

The Add/Remove Points allows for the addition or removal of points. Hover over an existing point and click a point to remove. You can also marque (or window) select multiple points. Click anywhere on a curve where there is no point will add a point.

View

Zoom All shows the full extent of the image.

Navigation

Finish will exit the Editor Window and ask how you would like to output the file.

• CadShot: Automatically opens the file in PatternSmith if it is installed.

• DXF: Create a DXF file in the folder specified in Preferences and return to the CadShot main window.

• PDF: Create a PDF file in the folder specified in Preferences and return to the CadShot main window.
