Editing In PatternSmith

When a pattern is sent from CadShot to Patternsmith, there will be many points that are not needed that will affect how well the pattern is cut. To remove these points, open the pattern in the Pattern Editor and use the Optimize feature under the Cut Ready tab. Try different setting options to see which one works best for you.

Even after the optimization process, there may still be elements that appear rough. Try to replace elements with smoother elements. You can also use the Join, Merge, and Thin tools to make smoother, better cutting patterns.
