File Tab

To access the File Tab, press the File button on the top left.

Export

Exports your data in a CSV file. In Preferences you can set which columns to export and the default directory for exporting.

User Interface

Theme can be set to Metro Light (white) or Metro Dark (black).

Tooltip Delay controls the time delay between hovering the mouse over a tool and the display of the tooltip.

Product Updates

Check sets how often Synopsis checks for updates.

Plot Job Summary Files

Path is where Synopsis will look for job summary files. This location should be the same path you set in PatternSmith Preferences.

Exporting

Default Path is the default location for exported files.

Summary Formatting

Summary formatting controls the display of the data in Synopsis as well as in the exported CSV file.

Length Units sets the length units. Allowable units are Inches, Feet, Yards, Millimeters, Centimeters, and Meters.

Area Units sets the area units. Allowable units are Inches, Feet, Yards, Millimeters, Centimeters, and Meters.

Date allows control of the date and time format. The Example field at the bottom shows a preview of what will be displayed.

Plot Job Columns To Export

Allows the user to select which fields are shown in the Analysis tab.

Plotter Shifts

Allows the user to set shifts for each machine. Each machine can have multiple shifts. This allows more control of the data displayed in the Summary Panel.

Create a Diagnostic File

Packages files together for diagnostic files. This file can be sent to Autometrix Support (support@autometrix.com) to aid in troubleshooting.

Checks the Autometrix website for updates to this application.
