Best Practices
Contrast is everything. Make sure there is good contrast between the hide and the background. If the colors are too close, the program will have difficulties finding the edges.
Hides need to be flat on the table. Curled edges, torn edges, and edges that are rough or damaged will lead to inaccurate results and poor cuts. If a hide can’t be flattened out completely, make sure to mark that area as a flaw to avoid running the cutting tool into these areas, possibly causing damage to the machine.
Grade your hides with a marker that will be easy to see in the camera image.
