Material Settings

Material Width

The width of the material being used.

Minimum Slice Width

This value will prevent the slicer from creating panels narrower than this value.

Default Slice Width

The default width of each slice. This can be as small as the minimum slice width, or as large as your material width.

Slice Line Tool

Determines if you would like your slice lines to be mark or reference lines. The slice line is going to be where your sliced pattern pieces meet to form your finished product. Seams are added separately using the seam tool, described below.

Add Pattern Name As Reference Text

If toggled on, it will add reference text with the pattern name to your sliced patterns.

Size

Sets the size of the reference text.

Seams

Slicer will automatically add seams to your sliced patterns. You can input the seam size added on each slice, as well as the Tool to be used for the seams (reference, cut, or mark). **NOTE** If your sliced width is equal to your material width, set the seam tool to reference to prevent the machine from attempting to cut/mark the material edges.

Labels

Here, you can add a label to the left and right seams of your sliced patterns, to aid in assembly and identification.

Enter your desired Left Label and Right Label text, select the desired Tool and Placement of each, and toggle on/off as needed.
