Main Page
The Main Page is where you can use the last picture taken, select a picture from your photo album, or take a picture.
Menu
To access the Menu, press the Hamburger button on the top left. Here you can navigate to the IP Address, Calibrate, Support, and About sections.
IP Address
Here you can enter the IP address of the computer you are using. This will connect your mobile device to your computer.
Connecting To a Computer
- Find the IP address of the computer. You can find the IP address in PatternSmith>Preferences>Plugins>Cadshot Mobile.
You can also find the IP address of the computer from the CadShot Mobile computer application, CadShot Mobile > Preferences > Server & Calibration.
- Input the IP address into the CadShot Mobile app.
Calibration page
Here you can calibrate your device so that lens distortion can be removed.
Calibrating a Device
Calibrate guides you through the process of taking 13 pictures of the calibration image.
The calibration image can be found in PatternSmith (Preferences > CadShot Mobile > Calibration Image) or in the CadShot Mobile computer application (Preferences > Calibration Image).
When capturing images during the calibration process, rotate your device sideways. You will be prompted to take a picture of the calibration image from different orientations and distances.
Once the calibration is done, you can turn the calibration on and off using the toggle.
